Spend a couple hours, reading the cards, in a stationary outlet.  To get the most from the experience, be sure to sample a variety of categories and companies. And of'course you'll be sure to put them all neatly back in their slots:)

Set the budget no higher than $5. Take yourself to a local 'dollar store' to buy something fun to play with. 

Get acrylic paint tubes in white, black, red, yellow and blue. Have a tub of rinse water, a paint brush, a colour mix grid and something you can use to get a specific (small) amount of paint.

Measure, mix and chart colours to make recipes for your favourite shades, hues and tints for future reference.

Does this sound more like a creative activity than a Artist's Date? Not so. This date idea is not about creating, as it may seem at first. Gathering input to evoke inspiration is exactly what an Artist's Date is about!
