Sitting here at the kiosk in the mall, watching a "million" people simply, walking by & hardly even noticing me sitting here, just waiting for a smile & better yet, some conversation. That's what I get for taking on this shift at the "Mall".
During December 2008 - January of 2009, Tenaj decided to explore acquiring an RV, because it's always been a dream of mine and a horror of hers (she does NOT want to live in a trailer). We agreed on a list of specifications (more on that later) and I made a list of enticements for Tenaj.
It isn't easy being a full time parent for 3 kids, 3, 6 & almost 10 & trying to put in my typical 48+ hours at work. In fact I gave up my volunteer hours for this week cus I knew it would be impossible. Luckily I can work a lot from home. I forgot what having youngins around was like.
My lady (Tenaj DaCosta) and I are frustrated with all the gotta-dos that lock us into a schedule and location. We're both spirits who love to create solutions and enjoy life.
Bought my 1st microwave oven with glee! Took it home to my downtown Toronto apartment and felt very 'all that'. (I wasn't as in the 'in' as most, but pretty close to 'keeping up' …)
Staying in work-a-holic mode seems easier than carving out a more playful, creative, stress-less (not stressless, less stress:)) life, but only now that we've made the decision Not to live that way anymore.
