Staying in work-a-holic mode seems easier than carving out a more playful, creative, stress-less (not stressless, less stress:)) life, but only now that we've made the decision Not to live that way anymore.
Switching to computer 'everything' is huge! Ya wouldn't think so – well, I wouldn't have. I tend to think of my computer as an easy, time-saving, device. Sometimes, the learning curve is grueling. And for a techno-peasant like me, the back-end is frustrating and always foreign. Everything takes waaaaayyyyy longer to set up than it initially appears (it sucks you in with promises of quick and easy), but in the end … time is saved and convenience is plentiful.
I've been a computer user since 1991. And thanks to Macintosh (which I absolutely love) I got pretty savvy pretty quick. So me and my computer have been 'joined at the hip'
