What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail? -Dr. Robert Shuller |
Making myself a gloriously delicious, comforting, almost ritualistic cup of coffee this morning was seriously sweet and quite disturbing too.
As I was rinsing out my 1 cup, gold coffee filter, I beamed. If I remember correctly (though it could be earlier) I bought that filter in 1985! It cost me $20 + hard-earned dollars. But I'm an ecoholic. The tool for making the transition to 'the right (eco) way' was available and short of Not being able to feed my catpeople, I'd have given up just about anything to buy that gold filter. Yeah me!
Now it's about 25 years later and there has been a truckload of coffee-making through that filter. How sweet is that! How fabulous an Earthing am I becoming:)
The disturbing part – I'm now at the beginning of the beginning of taking 'The 100 mile Challenge'. No coffee allowed … it doesn't grow in Canada. Poop-ski-opski
