Orange foundling – teeth bashed in; face mashed; asphalt embedded in his legs and arms … from being thrown, yes! I said thrown, from a moving vehicle when he was about 6 weeks old.  

According to the Customs Officer, this happens a lot.  People get suddenly nervous that they're not allowed to take a kitten across the line so toss the baby out the moving window.
