I love her to pieces and miss her deeply. We don't live in the same city any more. So, getting together is expensive – from the other side of the country.
Since 1997, there have been yearly, sometimes twice yearly visits – it's not the same. TIme passes. Lives take turns in different directions.
Snez's art is almost hidden. She's always had more pressing concerns … like work, family, being 'the glue', play … and other 'salt of the earth' things to focus on.
We'd been teaching at the same private pre-school for years, before I even knew about her unusual and brilliant art. |
One year, for my birthday, having 'nothing else to give' she gave 2 of her pieces. Then as now – I love them! They've been framed and sit together in my dining room.
One day, maybe by sending her the link to this page, I'll be able to convince her to pick up a marker again … In the meantime, see some more of her work in our eCard section.

Snezana lives in Southern Ontario with her adoring husband, 3 beautiful daughters, a bunch of delightful grand-children and a huge dog named Nikolai.
Besides her compelling art
Snez spends her time filling the lives of everyone she
encounters with the brightness and sunshine of her joyously loud and cheerful nature.
