AUTHENTIC SELF:
Who are you? Before you answer, ask yourself this: Whose definition of who you are is being used, and how current is that profile?
Authentic Self is about the on-going process of defining, redefining and reinventing ourselves over and over again With each revision, another layer of fear and impotence is peeled back and then away. A little at a time, more of the genuine, illuminated being is uncovered. Slowly, usually with a whole bunch of work, ones truest Self is revealed.
Authentic Self is for the brave-hearted whose quest for truth is, first and foremost, about unmasking the individualized miniature God, that is each of us.

Highest Good of All
Praying to God is a customary form of getting our wants and needs fulfilled. For most people, making a request (or sometimes demand) doesn't consider that someone else, on the other side of the planet, or maybe next door, is perhaps asking for something that is in direct opposition.
How does anyone know whose wish is most deserving? Debatable right?

Somewhere inside, each of us knows that we are all connected.
Everyone from the mightiest mogul to the tiniest microcosm has an integral role in the over-all well-being of everything else. Therefore, though not readily visible, what affects one affects all.
So, if for no other reason than butt-covering, thinking, speaking or writing 'for the highest good of all' at the end of a request, is a loving gesture. It also works to remind one's self that being in charge of who gets what and who doesn't is too big a responsibility.
Heck, most of the time its brain-bending just figuring out what's best for both members of a couple, never mind all the ga-zillions of species everywhere!
In this case, surrendering control is a self-care choice. The Universe knows what its doing. Let it discern and orchestrate for the highest good of all.
